Use case
Earnings week is a list of tickers and a clock. On Sunday morning you see what is coming, you pick the ones you care about, and OpenClaw creates a one-time job for each company that fires after the release, sends a short narrative, and deletes itself.
What to connect
A watchlist file, a quotes or earnings calendar source you trust, and the [EARNINGS] Telegram topic.
Setup
- Put tickers in [WATCHLIST PATH], one per line.
- Set the Sunday preview to 9:00am in your timezone.
- Confirm OpenClaw can create and delete a one-time cron job.
- Run the Sunday preview once and pick one ticker so you can see the one-time job appear, then remove that test job if the release is not real.
Edit before you send: The watchlist path, the Sunday time, and how long after the release the report should run.

Save this as a skill named earnings-preview. Every Sunday at [9:00] [TIMEZONE], read [WATCHLIST PATH] and send the [EARNINGS] Telegram topic a preview of which names report in the coming week. I will reply with the tickers I want. Ignore the rest. For each ticker I pick, create one cron job timed [30] minutes after that company's earnings release. The job: - Writes a narrative, not a table: beat or miss, how the stock moved, and the two or three takeaways that matter. - Sends it to the [EARNINGS] topic. - Deletes itself after a successful send. If the release time is unknown, ask me before you create the job. If the report fails, leave the job in place, tell me, and do not delete it. Do not trade, and do not give me an order to buy or sell. The note is a summary of what happened.
